Im really enjoying the shutdown.  Seeing the useless eaters squirming at the thought of having to pay bills without the taxpayers forced generosity is a delight to behold!  Even better is the notion that these same blights on humanity will have to pay interest on loans taken out by the very banksters that they serve while trying to saddle the rest of the populace with slavery!

Keep is shut.  I hear the various agencies are doing just fine without the deadwood.  Keep it shut.  Maybe the stupid bastards on furlough will follow the route of the oh-so-noble Gestapo, uh, I mean TSA agents and resign in favor of finding work elsewhere.

While I posted the link earlier, I will here post, in its entirely, the article from the Daily Caller:

The Daily Caller is taking the rare step of publishing this anonymous op-ed at the request of the author, a senior official in the Trump administration whose identity is known to us and whose career would be jeopardized by its disclosure. We believe publishing this essay anonymously is the only way to deliver an important perspective to our readers. We invite you to submit a question about the essay or our vetting process here.

As one of the senior officials working without a paycheck, a few words of advice for the president’s next move at shuttered government agencies: lock the doors, sell the furniture, and cut them down.

Federal employees are starting to feel the strain of the shutdown. I am one of them. But for the sake of our nation, I hope it lasts a very long time, till the government is changed and can never return to its previous form.

The lapse in appropriations is more than a battle over a wall. It is an opportunity to strip wasteful government agencies for good.

On an average day, roughly 15 percent of the employees around me are exceptional patriots serving their country. I wish I could give competitive salaries to them and no one else. But 80 percent feel no pressure to produce results. If they don’t feel like doing what they are told, they don’t.

Why would they? We can’t fire them. They avoid attention, plan their weekend, schedule vacation, their second job, their next position — some do this in the same position for more than a decade. (RELATED: diGenova and Toensing: Judge Napolitano Is Wrong On The Law and The Facts)

They do nothing that warrants punishment and nothing of external value. That is their workday: errands for the sake of errands — administering, refining, following and collaborating on process. “Process is your friend” is what delusional civil servants tell themselves. Even senior officials must gain approval from every rank across their department, other agencies and work units for basic administrative chores.

Process is what we serve, process keeps us safe, process is our core value. It takes a lot of people to maintain the process. Process provides jobs. In fact, there are process experts and certified process managers who protect the process. Then there are the 5 percent with moxie (career managers). At any given time they can change, clarify or add to the process — even to distort or block policy counsel for the president.

Saboteurs peddling opinion as research, tasking their staff on pet projects or pitching wasteful grants to their friends. Most of my career colleagues actively work against the president’s agenda. This means I typically spend about 15 percent of my time on the president’s agenda and 85 percent of my time trying to stop sabotage, and we have no power to get rid of them. Until the shutdown. (RELATED: Has Twitter Stopped verifying Fox News staffers?)

Due to the lack of funding, many federal agencies are now operating more effectively from the top down on a fraction of their workforce, with only select essential personnel serving national security tasks. One might think this is how government should function, but bureaucracies operate from the bottom up — a collective of self-generated ideas. Ideas become initiatives, formalize into offices, they seek funds from Congress and become bureaus or sub-agencies, and maybe one day grow to be their own independent agency, like ours. The nature of a big administrative bureaucracy is to grow to serve itself. I watch it and fight it daily.

When the agency is full, employees held liable for poor performance respond with threats, lawsuits, complaints and process in at least a dozen offices, taking years of mounting paperwork with no fear of accountability, extending their careers, while no real work is done. Do we succumb to such extortion? Yes. We pay them settlements, we waive bad reviews, and we promote them.

Many government agencies have adopted the position that more complaints are good because it shows inclusion in, you guessed it, the process. When complaints come, it is cheaper to pay them off than to hold public servants accountable. The result: People accused of serious offenses are not charged, and self-proclaimed victims are paid by you, the American taxpayer.

The message to federal supervisors is clear. Maintain the status quo, or face allegations. Many federal employees truly believe that doing tasks more efficiently and cutting out waste, by closing troubled programs instead of expanding them, “is morally wrong,” as one cried to me.

I get it. These are their pets. It is tough to put them down and let go, and many resist. This phenomenon was best summed up by a colleague who said, “The goal in government is to do nothing. If you try to get things done, that’s when you will run into trouble.” (RELATED: If Ginsburg Retires, Democrats Have A Trump Card — Packing The Supreme Court)

But President Trump can end this abuse. Senior officials can reprioritize during an extended shutdown, focus on valuable results and weed out the saboteurs. We do not want most employees to return, because we are working better without them. Sure, we empathize with families making tough financial decisions, like mine, and just like private citizens who have to find other work and bring competitive value every day, while paying more than a third of their salary in federal taxes.

President Trump has created more jobs in the private sector than the furloughed federal workforce. Now that we are shut down, not only are we identifying and eliminating much of the sabotage and waste, but we are finally working on the president’s agenda.

President Trump does not need Congress to address the border emergency, and yes, it is an emergency. Billions upon billions of hard-earned tax dollars are still being dumped into foreign aid programs every year that do nothing for America’s interest or national security. The president does not need congressional funding to deconstruct abusive agencies who work against his agenda. This is a chance to effect real change, and his leverage grows stronger every day the shutdown lasts.

The president should add to his demands, including a vote on all of his political nominees in the Senate. Send the career appointees back. Many are in the 5 percent of saboteurs and resistance leaders. (RELATED: New Facts Indicate Mueller Destroyed Evidence, Obstructed Justice)

A word of caution: To be a victory, this shutdown must be different than those of the past and should achieve lasting disruption with two major changes, or it will hurt the president.

The first thing we need out of this is better security, particularly at the southern border. Our founders envisioned a free market night watchman state, not the bungled bloated bureaucracy our government has become. But we have to keep the uniformed officers paid, which is an emergency. Ideally, continue a resolution to pay the essential employees only, if they are truly working on national security. Furloughed employees should find other work, never return and not be paid.

Secondly, we need savings for taxpayers. If this fight is merely rhetorical bickering with Nancy Pelosi, we all lose, especially the president. But if it proves that government is better when smaller, focusing only on essential functions that serve Americans, then President Trump will achieve something great that Reagan was only bold enough to dream.

The president’s instincts are right. Most Americans will not miss non-essential government functions. A referendum to end government plunder must happen. Wasteful government agencies are fighting for relevance but they will lose. Now is the time to deliver historic change by cutting them down forever.

Welcome to the Winter Solstice, one of the Pagans 4 holiest days of the year!  Everybody gotta feel welcome, dig?  Lets start…

A super curious turn of events with The Wall.  I have watched the GoFundMe page grow from under $5 million a day or so ago to just under $12.5 million at press time.  This brings some questions and thoughts to mind:

Obviously this has hit a nerve with the populace.  Im thinking that perhaps the Regeneracy part of the 4th Turning Crisis is here.  It started with the election of Trump and is gaining with the Build the Wall push.  The people assume that their wishes are both heard and ignored in the Capitol.  Trump was an initial shot across the bow.  The stunning turnout on The Wall is a second shot.  Should Mordor on the Potomac continue its course I think the shots will start coming in more, uh, concrete forms…

Related, former has-been ‘actress’ Alyssa Milano, noted for her cringe-inducing performances on tv and the occasional movie, has been reported as mocking the triple amputee vet that started the GoFundMe page.  She thinks he should be taking care of vets instead of funding the wall.

Gosh baby, maybe some of the taxes that are extracted from us by force could help with that instead of going to illegals who prune your flowers and wax your ass.  Seems to me if that is the result of the wall then he is, in fact, helping.  Perhaps you could help by ceasing to use oxygen so desperately needed by other humans…

11 Dec 2018 on Pullups, Hee Haw and the Destruction of Civilization

I was listening to a podcast the other day on Lucid Dreaming and the girl had a charming phrase that I simply MUST steal: imaginary readers.  She referred to her imaginary listeners, but you work with what you have, right?

So you are all now Official Imaginary Readers(TM).  And a couple of Non-Imaginary Readers.  Congratulations, who would have expected a promotion so early in the day, and on a Tuesday at that!!

Onward…

Have any of you IR’s (did you see what I did there…?) seen or heard of David Goggins?  MoFo holds the world record for number of pullups in 24 hours, over 4,000!  Let me tell you, I would be lucky to be able to do 4 in 24 hours!  Here he is nowadays:

And here he was prior to getting after some fitness:

I doubt I have permission to use his image so he’ll just have to find me a sue me, but in the meantime I must give him a big Hee Haw Salute!!

Which brings me to a point of order today: It is the very folks in Hee Haw that are routinely mocked, derided and vilified by the Hive.  They are generally portrayed as white, male, patriarchal, backwoods, redneck, nosepicking bumpkins.  Inbred if lucky.

They are cast this way because in living memory, they are and have been the most gentle, self-effacing folks around.  Able to laugh at themselves and their weaknesses whether moral, intellectual, physical, etc.

They are and have been generally generous having been raised in an era where generosity meant you reached into your own pocket, not someone elses.  Many, now gone, were raised during ‘Depression I’ and knew true want.

Not ‘I cant get a good internet connection’ want or even a ‘I need tire for the car’ want.  No, they knew the deep want of hunger and insecurity.  The deterioration of the nation into near Argentina like conditions where hunger walked hand in barefoot hand with the population, or most of them anyway.

Clothes were at a premium, as was shelter.  Todays tent cities are squalid to be sure, but nothing like a tar paper shack in 1937.   Luck would have it made of corrugated tin.  I know a woman who was raised in a re-purposed chicken coop.  Now that’s called recycling you whiny bastards!!

These same folks are pilloried with impunity at the peril of the Hive for it is the Hive policies and patron saints that brought on Depresion I.  If you insist on existentially threatening them again you are going to awaken the Saxon.  And as the saying goes, when minorities riot they destroy neighborhoods.  When whites riot they destroy civilizations.

So please, find goodness where you can and appreciate it on its own terms.  David Goggins is an amazing athlete, and a damned fine motivational speaker.  Hee Haw was a great show about a better time.  Its ok to be white, just like its ok to be any other color of the rainbow.  Dont fuck it up by pushing your luck.

28 Nov 2018 z on Immigration

Let’s talk immigration, AGAIN.  I’ve had debates with people before an inevitably you have to use an analogy.  My go to so far has been: you come home from work one day and discover someone in your home.  You naturally freak out.  What do you do?  Do you go for your gun and hold them there until the police arrive?  Do you just call the police?  When the police arrive how does that conversation go?  They broke into my home and I want them arrested and put in jail!  Or just remove them from my home and tell them not to come back?  In either case, most people (I’ll explain why most in a bit) want them arrested and put in jail.  What happens if they plead their case?  They explain that they really needed a place to stay, they didn’t break anything and that they are willing to work in order to stay there?  They will clean the house, do the dishes, run errands, etc.  Do you let them stay or not?  Some people cannot, or will not, be able to make the correlation between this and someone coming into our country illegally.  This is the reason I said most people earlier.  Some will tell you it’s not the same thing and you can’t use that analogy.  When asked why, they offer no reason other than “it’s just not the same thing”.  These are the same people who think that the experiment of going around a college campus with a petition to redistribute GPAs is different from redistributing money or wealth.

Because of an article I read this morning, I’m changing my analogy for this scenario.  I think a group of conservative and/or libertarian people ought to get together, go do Washington D.C. and start moving into the offices of Democratic representative and Senate members. Tell them that said groups of people are there to work and they have to be given all the benefits of those who have been hired by those offices in the past.  Wages, insurance, vacation, etc. As well as helping make decisions on issues.  Now how do you think that would go over?  Yeah, me too.  Yet that is what these people are doing to the American people.  The article this morning, as well as a television story the other night, tells us that these people want EVERY vote counted.  Every vote?  Not just the valid ones?  And that they are willing to fight for it.  It’s all about creating a permanent dependent class that will keep these types of people in power through their vote as long as they are given the things they want.

Think about this for a minute.  We have thousands of people showing up at our southern border.  They are DEMANDING they be let in.  They are claiming they have a RIGHT to be here.  All the while, they are throwing rocks, and waving the flag of the country they are, theoretically, fleeing.  WTF?  The left, for their part, show video and pictures of the border patrol using tear gas to disperse the crowd.  Then they say it’s being used against children.  Here we go again with the kids.  They seem to have a conflict of interest or ideals or something, I don’t know what.  It seems as though as long as, as a human being, if you haven’t yet drawn breath, you are fair game and can be killed at any point.  As soon as you draw breath, thought, NOW you MUST be protected from everything.  Well, not everything.  Now we have a judge that has decided that the ban on female genital mutilation is unconstitutional.  Again, I ask, WTF?  Best I can tell, this is another practice that was introduced to this country thanks to immigration.

Here is an interesting article.

I wonder if the left will try to spin this as Trump’s fault?  I also wonder if this is the group of union plants that Obama sold to?  They complain about vehicles with gasoline engines, then complain when the jobs that they create are lost.  It’s just like most of the things the left seems to care about: they want it both ways.

Some items here from The Woodpile Report, just too damned good to leave to a static link up top:

CJ Roberts, Spectator – Chief Justice Roberts watches as justice now is converted to mockery by Left “Progressives” who lost the Presidency in 2016. Every time the President of the United States seeks to exercise his Constitutionally granted executive authority, the Democrats and their Left allies race to West Coast federal courthouses in search of a judge, who rapidly enjoins the President’s action with a sweeping nationwide order extending far beyond the judge’s local jurisdiction. The system makes a mockery of the courts, as Chief Justice Roberts now desperately realizes. It creates a cynicism towards the rule of law by manipulating and leveraging judges into pawns of Democrat “Progressives.”

American’t, American Thinker – Truly great disasters come like a thief in the night. How many see that the United States is at what some call a tipping point, what others may call a Fourth Turning? Whatever you call it, the American republic is in its last days. The so-called Left, ever violent since its French Revolution birth and as power hungry as ever. This isn’t your grandfather’s Democrat Party. Voters this time empowered closet-communist, sexual devolutionary, rabble-rousing, low-I.Q., no virtue, ignorant freaks who often encourage political violence by their Antifa-Brownshirt useful idiots. So it’s not your great-grandfather’s America, either.

Stagnation, Nautilus – Nothing is moving in the foundations of physics. One experiment after the other is returning null results: No new particles, no new dimensions, no new symmetries. Sure, there are some anomalies in the data here and there, and maybe one of them will turn out to be real news. But experimentalists are just poking in the dark. They have no clue where new physics may be to find. And their colleagues in theory development are of no help. Even if the LHC finds something new in the data that is yet to come, we already know that the theorists’ guesses did not work out. Not. A. Single. One. How much more evidence do they need that their methods are not working?

Gender, American Greatness – Millennials, those poor saps, have been so gender-whipped as to have been rendered essentially genderless—I mean sexless. Magazines that promoted the “sexual revolution” are now wondering why Americans aren’t having more gender—I mean sex. What do we gain by turning women into men and men into women? If the end result of “feminism” was in fact a biological male, then what good was feminism? If males can now transform themselves into the objects of their desire, are they women in sex or only “gender”? By hijacking the Civil Rights movement, grammar, Einstein’s theory of relativity, and anything else that comes to hand, the Left has managed to beat common sense and history into temporary submission. Is this the world you want to live in?

Read it all, each issue is jam packed with common sense goodness!
